  • only those grading should enter the sports hall (spectators should wait in cars)
  • students going for Yellow Belt upwards should wear foot pads and shin pads into the hall
  • all male students going for Yellow Belt upwards must wear a Groin Guard
  • all female students (age 13+) going for Yellow Belt upwards must wear Chest Protector
  • lower belts can come in trainers and take them off at the grade area
  • full uniform and belt should be worn to the grade

Sparring Equipment at Grade
From Yellow Belt onwards, students will show semi-contact sparring at their grade. All members must wear WCKA Headguard, WCKA Gloves (Open Hand only), WCKA Boots (plus shin pads, gumshield, groin guard for males, chest guard for females 13+)
From Green Belt onwards, students will show light continuous sparring at their grade. The same rules apply for equipment, although students must wear WCKA 10oz Boxing Gloves instead (see web shop)
Students who have incorrect equipment will not be able to spar. This will result in an overall “D” grade
